Honoring Arnold Mindell

Dear Agents of Change:

We are in a deep mix of emotions as we process and respond to the news of Arnold Mindell’s death. We reflect with profound sadness on the loss of an important mentor, colleague, and friend. Many of us spent time together with Arny and Amy at Yachats: listening, learning, bonding, evolving. We remember his laugh, his bald head with a knit cap, his fearlessness, his warmth, and his wisdom. He taught us to hold deep truths with a light touch. He taught us not to be afraid to address painful social issues and to lean on the wisdom of the system.

There is also a deep gratitude in considering the power of their legacy in our own work. ORSC is a natural extension of Arny and Amy’s work. We found our own tools to operationalize the wisdom of revelation, Deep Democracy, the Three Levels of Reality, and much more. Marita was commissioned to take the work to places the Process had a harder time reaching. She accepted the commission. We did our best and together created our signature training: Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC). Her teachings—and Amy’s—are in the DNA of ORSC.

We also feel joy in celebrating this unique man who has influenced so many of us and shaped who we have become. What a blessing he has been and is, he will always be available to us in consensual reality, dream and essence.

Ah Arny, teacher, friend, visionary and magician, we miss you and we celebrate you.

To his wife Amy, we surround you with love, appreciation and support as you navigate this edge filled with wonder. He loves you so much, always has and always will.

Your Third Entity will continue to sustain not only you, but the millions you impacted.

With gratitude we say goodbye in consensual reality to Arny in his well-known and appreciative “woof”!
