    Co-Active Coaching Fundamentals

Co-Active “Fundamentals” is a 2 ½ day course when held in person, and covers 4 half days in the online version. It is the entryway to the Co-active coach training series, and is an essential prerequisite for access.

This module gives you a new way of relating to others, by enhancing your social and management competencies with new communication, empathy and leadership skills.

In this course you’ll learn experientially about coaching through real coaching sessions with course leaders and classmates. You’ll receive valuable feedback on your progress with these new competencies.

“Fundamentals” is a stand-alone module in which all of the basic coaching skills are explained and practiced; as such, it is recommended for anyone interested in acquiring these skills, whether or not they intend to become a professional coach.

    You will learn and practice:

    • The Co-Active coaching model and how it works
    • The difference between coaching, mentoring, consulting and therapy
    • How to use the Co-Active model to enhance your communication skills
    • Designing alliances, to create alignment and clarify expectations in your relationships with customers or team members.
    • The three levels of listening—internal, focused and global— to deepen your relationships
    • Using powerful questions to identify what really matters to your client
    • The communication, agility and emotional capabilities needed to help others see their own potential as leaders

Co-Active coaching is the most widely taught methodology in the coaching profession worldwide, with over 65,000 coaches and leaders trained on five continents, including employees at over a third of Fortune 100 companies.

By the end of the course you will come away with a clear idea of how to incorporate coaching in your life, and obtain a diploma of basic coaching skills and 18.55 CCEU from the ICF
